in some more lighthearted events... Jean (Cracky's friend) told me he rollerskates, and maybe i want to try rollerskating... i would have to buy a pair of shoes, though, and like maaaaaaan i dont want to do that right now... but it is an idea i will keep stowed away to try out some day.

i also might buy Marathon (2026), im kind of wary of live-play games because if their servers shut down you lose 40 bucks (see Ubisoft's The Crew), but im inclined to believe that won't happen for a while, since Fortnite has been around forever and that hasn't happened. and even if Marathon does shut down, then i won't have ever been able to play it! so i want to get on that train before it departs, i guess. but also, Marathon is 40 bucks, and a pair of skates are $30-100. decisions! rollerskating looks so coooool! and Marathon has an awesome artstyle! whenever i look at the promo art and such i always put on Upstream Color by Skunkworx (from one of the Jungle Fatigue albums) because i associate the style with the track. i havent listened to the soundtrack, but there's a mod for Marathon (1996) that replaces the 1996 soundtrack with the 2026 one, in case i decide i like the music but not the game (unlikely).

i also also have been unable to log into my Flickr account! i changed from Firefox to Librewolf because Firefox refuses to install unsigned plugins (i got a theme for Twitter that made it look nice and 2005ish, as well as a theme for YouTube that makes it look like it's from 2011), and so i had to log into everything again, but apparently Flickr decided to change how their credentials are managed or something, so when i log in it says it failed to migrate my account. i contacted support but no answer yet. i can only use my account from the mobile app, which sucks to use on such a tiny screen. no regrets in changing browsers, though, because the themes i can get now are really cool! doesnt really get me to want to use the sites more, though (luckily). i scan Twitter as a last resort when all other boredom-alleviators fail, and i only go to YouTube when i want to hear some new D&B or breakcore or whatever, which isn't very often now that i can do that with Soulseek.
