flickr iii, tumblr feeds, nightwalk
Mar. 18th, 2026 07:07 pmi tried signing up to flickr with a few mozilla relay emails, no dice. account creation failed. they're still registered as registered, so i cant try again. it basically swallows my coins.
but, i found that on tumblr there're a lot of blogs dedicated to the exact type of flickr photo i want to see. so, what i want to do now is figure out a way to get an RSS feed, or something, so i can get a feed of posts from a list of blogs. this is harder than it seems, because most are sideblogs, and sideblogs don't have custom URLs (blog name dot tumblr dot com) for me to get RSS feeds from (blog name dot tumblr dot com slash rss). i found Polite Paul, a site that can generate feeds by grabbing elements from pages (and it seems to be pretty reliable), but i cant get it to grab images without enabling the loading of scripts in the grabbing editor, which causes a big white square to load over the page and make it impossible to set up. i also got a News widget for KDE Plasma, but it doesn't seem to load images from normal RSS feeds! i have no clue what to do. im going to wait for flickr to get back to me about my account.
recently, ive found that the strolls i go on around the neighborhood are really boring whenever i do them in the day. i like walking at night. makes for better photos. i wrote this sentence outside, just after taking out the trash. there's a kitty here! im about to start another walk.
