i reformatted Slab Serif to just be Linux and not OS X. now it shows no sign of being called "Slab Serif" anywhere on the disk, since the Linux partition is called "Solus Serifa". i installed Doukutsu-RS and ScummVM, for my copies of Cave Story and Myst/Riven. i replayed a bit of both. i got pretty far intro-wise into Cave Story (i stopped once i beat the soapbar/toaster boy, Balrog). for Myst, though... i didn't really get anywhere. i mean, i can play it, but the game takes me much longer to progress in. it kind of frustrates me. the last time i was playing Myst, i was totally cheating, i had the Myst UHS thingy open, and i just clicked and clicked until it gave me the answer. fortunately, i do not remember a lot of the stuff, so i can still play it normally.

i realized i have, like, one specific blog post on here i do not like. when i was going on and on about grace, and, like, transcribing it. like, what the fuck was i thinking? it's a solid brick of unreadable bullshit! why?!?!?! i don't even have any readers that care about that stuff! i would probably delete it if it didn't also have an update on the flickr thing.

i found an old twitter clone called BlueBlips. it looks cool, but i really have enough accounts on these things. i barely post on most of my accounts. i mean, who uses Plurk or Owler or Blips (unaffiliated with BlueBlips)?

anyway, ive been listening to more ambience recently. Earth 2, Piranesi... i dont have a lot of the stuff, but the nature of them means there's still a lot to be listened to, since they're always so long.

i went on a walk at around 6pm, because i spied a large park on the way home. i went and i laid in the grass and i thought about the clouds being their own planet. the Hycanyth Islands, the Chyne Heaven valleys, over by the sunset, illuminated in basking orange and later pink. my core hurts, i noticed, because yesterday or so i had the bright idea to run up to the brick wall dividing my backyard from the front area of the building, and jump toward and grab hold of the top of the thing, which i couldnt climb aboard of or otherwise get to the other side of, because of my weakly and untrialed frame. i was shaky while holding it. now my core hurts when i lift myself up, sneeze, etc., but not too much. but anyway, my core hurt when i shuffled around there, lying on the grass. i need some exercise. im fuckin' skinny.

At the end of the day, it's your blog. Going on and on about a topic of interest is really what gives blogs their character. I've got some old posts on here that I sorta dislike as well, but I keep them on here to archive what I was thinking at a particular point in time. Even if you think you've written some straight bullshit, when you go back to reread it down the line you'll be happy you recorded even the most mundane stuff.

You should pick up strength training. It also hurts, but in a good way.
