my sister asked me to teach her how to pirate music, because she was getting tired of using her friend's spotify account. we both now follow in the footsteps of our dad, who did that too. its surprising how easy it is now. she got a few Deftones albums in FLAC format, all from her ipad. i set her up with foobar2000, since its what i use.
i got a shitty pair of purple earbuds at some point i dont remember, and i tried them with my phone and they were spectacular, but i plugged them into my computer and they were awful. maybe its the port thats the issue? i dont want to use earbuds anyway. always gunky and falling out.
i feel grateful for all the good things i have read on here. making this blog was a good decision. i really like what my peruser page has turned into, and its a very stark contrast from all the social medias. i check it ~daily, and it doesnt demand any more attention. of course, this means i spend more time on the other social medias, but whether i decide to put an end to that is a different thing. unlike all the other sites, i feel like i have some genuine connections. i mean, i dont interact peer-to-peer a lot on here, but i still get a sense of kinship or frienship, and i read things i thoroughly enjoy.
Sawteeth made a new release today. it's a vinyl called Neural Network w/ 3 tracks, and it's free! or, the MP3s and such are. its intended to be a vinyl, though, so i assume once the guy gets in touch with his established physical media distributor he's gonna make it vinyl-only, but until then he's released the MP3s and FLACs and such for free. it's a collaboration with this "Neuralfold" guy. i guess he's a sparingly-released guy, i can only find him as a single on Jungle Fatigue V and one album as a Memory Archives label release. oh, and look at that! that album's free! man, music is so cool these days; everything is either free or easily taken and it's never been easier to find what you like. the world is so beautiful!
