comix64depth is the presentability one maintains of their internal mind to their peers. life is a balancing act between falling too inward and becoming Hal in Year of Glad, and falling too outward and becoming, let me be blatant here, one of the more severe autistics whom spend as much time as possible looking at thomas the train on google images. i unfortunately happen to be around the type of person whom has fallen outward, pays absolutely no mind to their own existence and has no idea theyre alive, and spends zero time philosophizing. i want to be with people who're closer to falling inward, though i dont want to be with someone who has fallen inward, since that's like some catatonic kind of thing. you're either oblivious to yourself, or oblivious to everything else. the Average Joe is someone who is mildly comprehensive of the world and themself. this was an idea i both really articulated and wrote to someone in the DFW Community Discord. its basically all that i sort of "measure" of people. i dont mean it to be discriminatory, but i acknowledge thats basically what it is. i dont want to be around people who're stupid or act stupid. either way they act a way i dont like. whether its genuine or a mask of stupidity isnt anything i want to spend time on. nevertheless, i hold everyone to a standard of cognition and comprehension regardless of articulatability until they prove themself either capable of articulating themself well or unable to comprehend stuff. does this make any sense? i hope it would, but i wouldnt assume it is.
in other news, i got a discord client to work on my 3DS. i also fixed a long-standing bug with the camera! which i have now had twice, but i forgot the solution the first time, and in fact forgot that it had ever been fixed, it's just so much of a kind of out of the way problem i just ignored it. my 3DS used to be unable to open the camera app. i had the DSi camera app installed for its filters. the problem was that the camera app would get stuck on preparing, the sound app would never load music and face raiders was a permanent black screen. the solution was opening the DSi camera app and copying all my photos from the NAND to the SD, and then deleting all photos off of the NAND. worked like a charm. it was a surprisingly simple solution, since via a mess of community support i thought i had to replace my physical camera. the camera itself worked fine, and but it was assumed to be a ribbon cable issue because my console emits a soft click/pop sound when it turns on, off or boots into or out of GBA/DS mode. its done that since i got it. it was never an issue. but anyway, now i can take photos in both the DSi app and the 3DS app, since now i have no worries about the DSi app corrupting the 3DS one. i can take 4:3 photos with color filters, and i can also take stereoscopic 5:3 photos and videos! woo!
anyway, i havent tried it yet but the discord client i got for the 3DS, called TriCord, claims to have media upload support. in the past i've used FTPD to copy them from the 3DS to a FTP compatible network client, which is kind of a lot of work. i also had a site that was a clone of the image share service, that simply let you open the web browser and pick a photo and then get a QR code to scan with your phone to add it to your phone's library. this also worked well. but now i may have a way in which i can just open a discord server and upload a photo there, as well as write and have conversations. very cool! and now that that longstanding camera issue is fixed i can definitely say my 3DS works flawlessly, has no issues and is my favorite console. it's become more of a gadget, a cyberdeck, even, with all the mods and homebrew i've put on it.
